Larissa Murphy is the Co-Founder of Contrast, a global design collective focused on creating human centric, technology enabled and business supportive work spaces. With more than 19 years workplace design experience across EMEA and APAC, Larissa believes that engaging local culture, corporate culture, branding, as well as understanding business dynamics are fundamental to delivering a successful workplace design. Viable workspaces of the future must engage their users, and go beyond the aesthetic and real estate function.
“I am passionate about human behaviour and have a keen interest in the psychology of space and behavioural science. It forms the backbone of all my work. My experience of working with a broad spectrum of people from a diverse range of professions within and outside client organisations, has given me a unique perspective on the overwhelming importance of people, their behaviour and perceptions when considering design.”
